Julian Gilliam aka LOGIK

Julian Gilliam aka LOGIK is a visual artist who decided to call Chicago his home after graduating from Columbia College Chicago. As a native of Ferguson (St. Louis), Missouri his work portrays a tainted and dark perspective with a silver lining. Being a product of systematic oppression, the focal idea within his body of work is the promotion of self-liberation. He’s dabbled in various mediums to help him create towards the BIG picture; animation, film, photography, fashion, painting, events, and corporate advertising as an art director. What’s the BIG picture? He plans to manifest his own version of Disney. *drops mic*picks it back up. Currently he’s working on his first solo show called, “Advocating Ignorance”. During his residency at FMK he will be creating a piece to be a part of its series.
